CIRFOOD starts pilot with Healthy Fridge

At CIRFOOD, we are constantly working to improve the food experience of our guests and clients. We see that more and more people are consciously choosing a healthy lifestyle. That's why we offer a wide range of nutritious and delicious options to inspire and support our guests in making healthy choices. Even if people are on the road, working in the office or want to order outside our regular opening hours, we are ready to help. With this vision in mind, we started a pilot together with partner Healthy Fridge for corporate catering.

Low-threshold

Healthy Fridge is a concept to offer delicious and healthy food from local producers in an accessible way 24/7. It makes buying a salad as easy as buying a candy bar. After all, how often does it happen that due to a meeting, work schedule or an offsite appointment, you miss out on afternoon or evening catering at the office?

Objectives

Our main goals with the Healthy Fridge pilot are:

1.         To test a 24/7 offering of healthy options within our corporate catering services.

2.         To provide easy access to healthy food for our guests.

3.         Encouraging awareness and promoting healthy eating habits.

B&I company catering pilot

We started this corporate catering pilot at a B&I location. The Healthy Fridge was installed here and filled with a varied assortment of healthy snacks, poké bowls, wraps, sandwiches, fruit, soup. In collaboration with nutritionists, we ensured that the range is balanced and meets different nutritional needs.

Customized

Because the standard organization does not exist, CIRFOOD also does not offer ready-made solutions. Together with Healthy Fridge, we looked at the optimal assortment. The company works a lot with local and sustainable products and takes a critical look at food waste.

First reactions to the company catering concept

The feedback we have received so far has been predominantly positive. Especially the diversity and quality of the healthy assortment are appreciated. Most important, however, is the impact on customer behavior: many guests indicate that they choose healthy options more often, even elsewhere.

Lessons and future steps

The goal of the pilot is to gain valuable insights about the demand for healthy food outside of regular business catering hours to test the easy access of a healthy assortment. Based on the success of the pilot, we plan to further expand our healthy options and implement the Healthy Fridge in more locations. In addition, we will continue to listen to customer feedback and adjust our offerings to meet their needs and preferences.

With the launch of our Healthy Fridge Pilot, we are taking an important step in our mission to promote healthy eating habits and support our guests in making healthy choices. Together with Healthy Fridge, we are building a platform that makes healthy eating accessible to all, with an eye for customization and the needs of our community. There are now more frequent after-hours meals inside the building.  This pilot is an important step in our mission to make healthy and sustainable food accessible to all.
